A you-can't-go-wrong type of cake. =)
Yield 1 x 10 inch
Ingredients:
2 C flour
1 3/4 C sugar
3/4 C cocoa
1 1/2 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
3 eggs
1 C buttermilk
1/2 C vegetable oil
2 t vanilla
1/2 C hot water
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees and grease and line baking tin.
2. Combine wet ingredients.
3. Sift in dry ingredients and beat on medium to high until smooth.
4. Bake for 60-75 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
