Yield 1 x 8 inch
Ingredients:
1 C water chestnut flour
2/3 C sugar
3 C water
1/2 C water chestnuts, chopped
Method:
1. Over low heat, melt sugar in half of the water.
2. Combine flour with remaining water.
3. Stirring continuously, add flour mixture to sugar syrup.
4. Stir over low heat until mixture thickens slightly.
5. Remove from heat and add water chestnuts.
6. Steam for 1 hour.
7. Serve hot or cold.
