So so so glad that the 45+ degree heat did NOT decide to stick around on the weekend or else we would have had a few problems decorating and making all our little bits of tiles, dice, etc. Waited until mid morning saturday to make sure the temperatures were definitely back to normal before we started!
Pretty happy with everything and not as time consuming as first expected. However, drying time is essential for the fondant bits and also to ensure that the chocolate pieces were shaped the way you wanted them to be. Melting and shaping chocolate is a pretty difficult process...
The tiles make up a lucky hand... apparently one of the highest hands in mahjong and the dice with the red dot (one) represents luck. Perhaps we could make a whole set and play with it one day? ;)
